Connecting your Bitbucket Server account
You can connect your Bitbucket Server account on your account settings by going to Add Source Control Provider > Bitbucket Server. You will be prompted to enter the URL of your Bitbucket Server and the credentials you use to sign in.
We value your security and store your credentials securely.
If your Bitbucket Server installation is protected by a firewall you have to whitelist the Changehub IPs. Follow the instructions when creating your connection.
Once you have connected your account you can start creating projects based on the repositories you have access to.
How does Changehub retrieve my releases and their changelogs?
We currently do not automate detection of releases of your Bitbucket Server projects. You can however use our API to create releases.
To retrieve the changelog for a release we use an algorithm based on pull requests that are merged into your default branch. Refer to the supported formats section on how to correctly structure the pull request body.
All the pull requests that are merged since the last created release are considered to be part of the changelog for the next release.
